The Pathfinder Club, or simply Pathfinders, is a ministry department of the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA), which works specifically with the cultural, social and religious education of children and adolescents between the ages of 10 and 18 years.
Similar in many respects to Scouting, yet different in that the emphasis in Pathfinders is placed heavily on their stated mission of helping people outside the Christian faith to understand the beauty and appeal of Christ. And in addition helping those already established in the faith by their living example that we are "saved to serve, sanctified to shine and called to make a difference." Part of the official program of the Adventist Church since 1950. Globally the Pathfinder Club is part of the church's youth ministry, under Australian director Gilbert Cangy.
An estimated 38% of Adventist youth aged 18 and under "Are members of Pathfinders or a similar church-sponsored youth group", according to a 2002 worldwide survey of local church leaders.
Locally at Imani the Pathfinder program has recently been rebooted and is quickly becoming known in the city and around the county as a first-rate, highly organized, well informed,
highly trained, disciplined, energetic, Christ centered and sharply dressed group of young people.
This is due to the vision, commitment and efforts of their leadership staff comprised of
Elder Frank Benjamin (USMC Ret.), Gertrude Faulkner and Mary Longsworth.

Pathfinder Day 2014
When you serve Heaven's King, standing before city
mayors is all just a part of the course
A Pathfinder will always Stand, Perform and Command in the service of Christ
"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be
able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand."
Ephesians 6:13
At Imani you won't have to sell our Senior Pastor on the importance of Pathfinders.

Polished shoes, creased pants and pressed shirts don't mean a thing
if the mind isn't sharp (Imani Pathfinders studying).
Where do Pathfinders come from? The great ones start out as Adventurers.
Wave after Wave God's army keeps coming!
Our First Lady Dee Mupfawa spending time in the support
of Imani's future super-stars.
Like any good Adventurer, Seth has plans to go places.
The Lord is My Shepherd, I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
At the end of the day, there's not a whole lot of things
cooler than a dog. Mommy, Daddy can I have one?
Pathfinders; We're too big to be ignored, too committed to retreat,
too empowered by Christ to suffer defeat, so let's carry His Cross over.
